Meeting Shanice and Jason was a dream! Just a few weeks before their wedding, they learned their original wedding photographer had travel complications due to the pandemic. Luckily their family friend, Ryota, who was their videographer is also a friend of mine and so we all connected. If this pandemic has taught us anything, it has given many of us further appreciation to always stay in touch with one another. You never know what the future ahead will have in store for us.
I'm truly grateful to have met this couple. Sharing their special day, capturing their beautiful moments, while seeing familiar faces on their wedding day was a blessing. With love and care surrounding their ceremony, it was as if we'd all forgotten for a moment of what was happening elsewhere in the world, as it should be. Shanice and Jason's wedding day was perfect.
Shanice and Jason began their day getting ready at two separate locations. Despite the pandemic, they spent their day keeping wedding traditions alive! Calm and surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, this particular environment was the perfect setting to begin their special day.
With pre-ceremony gifts and letters to a first look of Shanice and her father, emotions of pure happiness and some tears of joy were shared before we all came together at the Alii Kula Lavendar Farms!
